Morning Fuel....

I am sitting here eating oats with ground flax, chia seeds, almonds and protein powder. I also had a spelt chocolate, banana muffin!! Wow. That sound so unhealthy :) It actually isn't, thank heavens. It is made with banana's instead of butter or oil and they use dark chocolate chips! Crazy good...still a treat. A healthy treat but one you do not want to have all the time. I wish I had the full recipe but it is from a whole foods grocery store here, they make them fresh, so very good!

What are you eating to fuel your day? Any favorites?

I want to try chia seeds so badly!! I have read about their benefits and I have a few friends that are into them. Now I just need to go get some :) I haven't been eating my best and my goal is to turn that around! Just need to get started...sigh...well it's Friday and as good of a time to start as any! Thanks for posting your foods..it helps me to see the right path. Have a fantastic weekend :)

Fudge babies from chocolatecoveredkatie.com All they are is a little cocoa, walnuts, dried dates (maybe some vanilla) I prefer them without vanilla. Great power snack! reminds me of a brownie.

I love green smoothies in the morning because they are helping me kick my coffee habit. Today I had 1/2 Cup frozen spinach, 2 tbs chia, my vegan life balance protein powder with greens, and 5 large strawberries all blended up.

Weight loss, in the context of medicine, health or physical fitness, is a reduction of the total body mass, due to a mean loss of fluid, body fat or adipose tissue and or lean mass, namely bone mineral deposits, muscle, tendon and other connective tissue. Thanks.

Oat seeds are commonly marketed as cat grass to cat enthusiasts, since cats readily harvest and eat tender young oat, wheat, and some other grass sprouts. Thanks.

The health care industry incorporates several sectors that are dedicated to providing health care services and products. As a basic framework for defining the sector, the United Nations International Standard Industrial Classification categorizes health care as generally consisting of hospital activities, medical and dental practice activities, and other human health activities. Thanks.
