Update...

Things are going great over here in snowy Siberia!! We are looking forward to flying back to the US in 10 days for the first phase of our move! We will be gone until the end of the month and I will try and log in as much as possible. We are very busy getting our home ready for the move. As far as the house hunting, it is going well!! We have found about 10 homes to view during the next few weeks and we have finalized the arrangements for our dog to fly back with us as well. So much as been done to prepare us for the next 10 days, but there is much left to do!

I am hoping to start back working out tomorrow, I think it has been long enough for my knee to rest and I need to feel the rush of running again, I miss it! I also cannot wait to start lifting again, it has been awhile since my last session and my muscles need to be shocked back into burning mode!

For those of you who are new to my blog, thank you for your comments and support. I hope to have more time soon so that I may reply back and begin posting again. I hope everyone is having a great start to the year!!

Keep reaching and working hard!!

Jen, I just added myself as a follower of your blog. It was linked to a thread on the Firm Ya Yas where I'm a member. I found your story so motivating and all your links so informative that I want to keep up with you! I have a question: How much time do you estimate you devote to online fitness/health? I am a busy mom so it's hard for me, but I bet I spend at least 1 hour a day online with my fitness friends. Now with you and all your links, there's way more to read and explore! Luckily, as a teacher, I'm on Christmas break, but in one week I go back to work and then I'll be limited again. I plan to check your blog weekly after that. Take care and keep up the good work.

It's so exciting to hear you're coming home! Let that knee rest til it's totally well (but know how you must miss running!) and enjoy the lifting again! Happy New Year! Best, Miche

Wow-huge move-back to the states! And this is the best time to be buying a house-you'll have your pick of the crop-hey!
Good luck-try not to stress as that can lead to some of our not so good old habbits-and it's just not healthy! (as I'm sure you know-LOL)
Cheers!

I know you are going to be busy but I have an idea for when you get settled...take pictures of your food. I cannot visualize some of your meals. They sound sooo yummy. I am trying to look at your logs going way back because you are certainly one girl who got the job done. You seem to always eat healthy no matter what. Do you ever feel tempted to eat something "bad?"

Are you still losing pounds/inches eating 1800 calories a day?

Krissa, absolutely - that is a great idea about the photos!

I do still loose eating 1800 a day IF I am running and burning calories, if not like on days I have off I only eat around 1250 - 1400 or so. It all depends on your activity. I use a site called myfooddiary.com to log all my meals and it tells me how much I will loose each week if I continue to eat a certain way. I LOVE the site and it has helped me so much in balancing my diet along with weight loss so that I never under eat....or for that matter over eat!
