Interesting......
As you can see, I am searching for what is right for me. Lots to read, the main two things I am questioning are wheat and dairy. I like his food pyramid however. A good mix of foods I think.

I rarely eat dairy now with the exception of cheese and then I prefer to try and use raw cheese if I'm going to use it. I use unsweetened almond milk for cooking and cereal if I eat that. I am also trying to weed out wheat. It really is not good for you contrary to popular belief. Our stomachs have a hard time digesting wheat. Many people have a sensitivity to wheat even if they aren't diagnosed with Celiac's Disease. Good luck on your journey finding the best way of eating for yourself! I'm am undergoing a similar journey at this point too :)
I am in the process of doing a modified south Beach program with less dairy and no grains. Have you read Wheat Belly? Seriously eye opening. What about Paleo? My problem is that I can only go for so long without some form of sweets. on Dr. Oz today they were saying how wheat and dairy are the 2 things people are most allergic to - creating inflamation and causing people to bloat and gain weight.
