Here is a pic of my new shoes!

So I had a great time at the bike shop and I am forever grateful for their help and guidance. While they were working on my bike I headed out for a run but the heat proved to be too much for me. I ran 1.5 miles then called it quits as I started to feel sick. I then headed to the pool for my swim, and finally the gym for a quick but hard ST session.
It was not the day that I had planned but I worked hard and was able to get a few good workouts in, but more importantly I was able to spend some time learning more about my bike and I now have my clips and shoes! I hope each of you had a successful day and you reached all your goals!

Awesome workout! I am so afraid of the clip shoes. I am paranoid that I am going to need to get my feet out of them in a hurry and won't be able to while riding. I'm such a wimp!
I was worried about that too, but mine have a quick release where all you do is kick your heel out to the side and you are out of them, it is really easy. The part I am going to have to work on is getting into the shoe while it is on the bike and the same goes for getting out of it, that is how I scuffed them up today on the road. Oh well, it is all part of the learning process I guess!
Those shoes look really cool. I would be terrified of using them, so I'll just leave that to you. LOL
like the shoes; with all they did at the bike shop was it expensive?
Well, the shoes and clips were not cheap, but I think they were worth it and the service was free because I bought my bike from there and I know the people. It is a great place!
Love the new shoe!
I use to have a pair of the clip on shoes for in class spinning. THEY WERE THE BEST. SO many times before I used the clip in I would be pushing so hard and my foot would fly off the peddle ( OUCH!!!!) YOU are going to love these shoes!
You will love the shoes because they really even out your pedal stroke and keep your legs inline. I bought them for indoor cycling classes and would never ever do a spin class without them. That being said, be safe using them to ride outdoors!
