Let's try this again....

As most of you know I have been posting on FB and IG far more than my website as of late. Maybe it's because we have moved to Singapore and I am remembering all my blogs from Norway and Russia or maybe it's time I increase my accountability...not sure which, but I need to start blogging again. This period in my life is a struggle to say the least. I am NOT losing as I once was despite all my efforts here and something has to change. I am dealing with some hormonal and metabolism issues and we are trying to get it sorted out.  For those of you who are not on Fb and do not know I am currently doing W30 again and it was going well the first week then nothing....stuck, and then I started gaining again. This past week I completed over 40 miles only to see the scale go up once again. It breaks my heart but Ive been here before and I am not giving up.

This week I am changing my program slightly. I am still following W30 but switching some things to include a hormone reset. No red meat, no caffeine, increased fat...a few things to see if it helps. As far as my training, I am keeping it simple. Lots of walking this week with light ST. I am trying to see if giving my body a break will help.

At the end of all of this at least I can say I did all that I could....

Training this week -

Monday - ST and 6 m
Tuesday - 8 m
Wednesday - ST and 6 m
Thursday - 4 m
Friday - ST and 4 m
Saturday - Off
Sunday - Off

Nutriton -

LCHF, W30 and HR -

Will post meals each day like the good old days :)

Today - 4/18

AM - Turmeric, ginger, lemon and ACV drink
1/2 apple with barney butter
Lunch - Fried eggs with spinach and avocado
Dinner - SFH shake with kale and frozen berries with coconut oil and chia seeds
No food past 6 pm. IF from 6 pm to 6 am

I can do this. I can do this. I WILL do this......

Glad to see you blogging. I know what you mean about the scale going in the wrong direction when you are doing everything right. Just keep living the healthy lifestyle and eventually you will be rewarded. Hugs and have a great week.

Just a thought,,..have you tried upping your food intake for 1 or 2 days? Your food intake is very low. Your metabolism will slow and you will store all that you are eatimg.

Listen to your body, it's SO important!! I've learned that after years and years of struggle, thinking I need to do this and that and eat this and that...For years I would work my butt off exercising...running even though I hated it, kickboxed everyday, ST, eat all the right things to help lose weight, or I'd cut things completely and I had the same problems your having...I would gain!! I decided to start from the drawing board, and modified my exercise to walking twice a day...I ST 2-3 days a week for only 15 mins, and a day of yoga or stretching. I also limited my gluten and carbs dramatically because i also noticed when I ate that in excess I'd gain and literally FEEL like crap! I'd get bloated, gassy, upset stomach. Im now wearing sizes I havent worn since high school!! I also agree with Mands, your body needs a certain amount of everything to function properly. Maybe just take a step back and see what your body is telling you.
You look beautiful just the way you are!!! I follow you on instagram too...how amazing to live in all the places you have and now Singapore!! Hope your hunny and lil one are doing well!!
Keep your head up, you've come so far, I know you can figure this out and move forward!!
